Dean Alverson is the Chief Development Officer for CareSouth.  Mr. Alverson is responsible for the growth and diversification of CareSouth's post acute health care business lines as well as overall coordination of all business development activities for the company.

Mr. Alverson has more than 22 years in the home care and hospice industry where he served many different roles including Senior Vice President of Business Development for CareSouth, Vice President of Aseracare Home Health and Hospice, Senior Vice President of Guardian Home Care Holdings, Area Vice President of Gentiva Home Health where he enjoyed success in both Operating and Sales roles. His experience in Operations and Sales provides a unique perspective for a dynamic and ever changing health care environment.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina –Aiken and Graduate training from Georgia State University.
