Chief Operating Officer
Norma English, RN, MSN, joined CareSouth in September, 2007 as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining CareSouth, Ms. English was the Vice President of Operations for SouthernCare, Inc., one of the nation's largest hospice organizations overseeing 95 locations in 14 states.
Ms. English has more than 25 years of varied healthcare management experience including roles as COO of NurseMatrix.com, and Vice President/Senior Vice President of Operations for two publicly traded multi-state physician practice organizations. In these roles, Ms. English developed expertise in start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, management of rapid-growth organizations, quality improvement and training, and clinical electronic documentation application development and management.
Ms. English received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
