Since 1995, CareSouth has grown into one of the largest providers of home care business services in the United States and is also an owner of home care service agencies.

CareSouth’s clients include patients, physicians, hospitals, freestanding home health agencies and third party payors. To meet the needs of this diverse group, CareSouth provides an array of business services such as billing and collections, utilization review and insurance verification, payroll processing, financial and accounting services, reimbursement services and clinical and operation management.

In addition to the business services company, CareSouth has five other companies under its umbrella including:

  Information system needs specifically designed for the home care industry in partnership with McKesson HBOC.

A management team with many years of health care and home care experience has led CareSouth through the turbulent times of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 and managed the company through its growth and expansion while retaining profitability. While the home health industry as a whole experienced enormous difficulty with the advent of the Balanced Budget Act, CareSouth has emerged stronger and poised for continued growth and profitability.
