MD Order specific to Mental Health Measurable Rehab potential
Normal inability to leave home due to psychiatric illness, or it requires a considerable taxing effort and patient has one or more of these symptoms:
- Severely depressed
- Impaired judgement/thought process
- Excitable and impulsive
- Severe Anxiety or panic attacks
- Delusions
- Hallucination
- Paranoia
- Suicidal ideation
- Emotionally labile
- Intense OCD behavior
- Poor reality orientation
- Aggressive
- Hostile
- Angry
- Impaired socialization skills and basic self care
- Close monitoring of medical and psychological needs
- Prompt reporting of significant findings to the Psychiatrist or Medical Doctor
- Assessment and teaching of appropriate safety measures in the home
- Permits patient to remain in least restrictive environment
- Medication management and education
- Facilitate and monitor lab draws
- Prompt crisis intervention and support
